The coaching role of the SLT, why is this role important to us?
The focus of the webinar is to take a closer look at the coaching role.
Which roles has the SLT? What is coaching and what is it not? Why is coaching important?
A specific way of coaching is coaching & inspiring (Jef Clement). This method emphasizes on the thinking process of the coachee by means of GRROW (a conversation structure) and 7 skills. The webinar presents an overview of this way of working and a exercise.
Speaker: Anne Breda is a certified coach and trainer in Coaching & Inspiring. She completed the “Coaching & Inspiring” training program in 2008 with Jef Clement and worked until his dead for 10 years under his supervision. She was a co-founder of and trainer in the postgraduate program ‘Coaching & Inspiring’ from 2012 until August 2024. Since then she is working in her own private practice.
From 2011 until August 2024, she supported stuttering therapists in developing their coaching skills as part of their role as experts. This kept the connection to her core profession as a stuttering speclialist alive. She was a staff member of ESS until August 2024. Then she officially retired.
She is an organizational coach & systemic coach since 2023. Since 2025 she is an Internal Family Systems therapist & coach. Working with and for individuals and teams and their relational dynamics is, in her opinion, the best job there is.
She works also as a volunteer at a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) because she believes that nurturing together in a community the riches of our natural world is essential for our planet. And because working in the garden is so relaxing and enjoyable.
As a partner and mother of an adult son and daughter, she cherishes who they are and what they have to offer the world.
