Ronald Verbeek
I have been working as a speech therapist since 1990. First in Hardenberg in our own practice where we worked with 7 (partly part-time) speech therapists. In 2010 I thought it was time for change and deepening.
The practice in Hardenberg changed hands and the contact I had with Stottercentrum Zwolle resulted in the NVST specialization as a stutter therapist. Stuttering had been my special interest from the start. Over the years I followed every further training that could be done in the field of stuttering. After an internship / coaching period of 8 months in Stottercentrum Zwolle, I was able to take over Stottercentrum Zwolle on January 1st 2012 from Corrie Witte and Durdana Putker who, almost since the foundation of the Zwolle stutter center in 1993, had been working there. In the Stottercentrum Zwolle I again work 1 on 1 with clients and after completing the specialization training of the NVST I felt much more secure and more confident in the treatment of stuttering. And by actively continuing to follow further education and training and participating in the VSN Quality Circle, I continue to grow and improve myself.
